History
Steel Specialties, LLC is a privately held company established in 2006 by Greg Pendergrass and Randy Cunningham. Shortly thereafter, Brian Cunningham joined the group as Operations Manager which ultimately established a team with over 100 years of steel fabrication experience.
Since our inception in 2006, Steel Specialties has continued to make investments into our facilities making our company a significant fabricator serving not only the Tri-State Area but globally.
In 2006 Steel Specialties was a small 7,500 square foot fabrication facility located in Dunbar, WV. In 2010, Steel Specialties nearly doubled in size by adding a new 7,200 square foot building adjacent to the original facility. In 2016, Steel Specialties acquired a 33,000 square foot fabrication facility in Point Pleasant, WV. Today, Steel Specialties has a total of 47,700 square feet under roof dedicated to steel fabrication.
Mission
Steel Specialties’ Mission is to provide a fabricated product which will meet or exceed our client’s requirement. We will strive to meet or exceed these requirements by following industry standards and those standards set forth by organizations such as ISO, ASTM, and AISC.
